Can't go wrong with it. Except on a Friday night. It is a bit crowded then.

Hollybush is a curious mix of gastropub and old skool boozer in an obscure little road in Hampstead. This place is definitely worth a visit on a cold winter's day.

The Hollybush does get really busy on Friday nights and this governs what type of experience you'll have. This, and how many irritatingly loud middle-classed Waitrose shoppers reliving their previous polo match there are on that particular night.

A lovely old English pub in a lovely setting! I love this place! Had dinner here for the first time a few weeks ago, the food and the atmosphere was fabulous! Will definitely be visiting again!

Quite simply the best pub in Hampstead. A charming building with a terrific atmosphere (no glitzy game machines, no big screen televisions) and excellent Real Ales are always available. You can also enjoy a terrific pub meal, if you are in the mood.
