I have been to The International a couple of times, both during the week and enjoyed both visits. I like the ambiance, the music and the prices for food and drinks are very reasonable. The platters from the bar are good if your wanting some quick bar snacks.
On the downside, the first time I went, we had an area booked, which wasn't ready until half an our after we booked it for. The second time, I had an area booked for 20 people but they gave us an area big enough for about 12! So I would suggest making sure you are specific when booking.

I love this bar, they have a great happy hour and lovely staff. The music is not too loud, it has a great atmosphere, it is perfect for a drink after work.
I have never received such bad customer service in all my life as I did at The International! A few of us ended up here on my birthday as it was the nearest place that was open late. However, not only did one particularly moody waitress keep pushing passed us without even attempting to say excuse me, but when our beers were cleared before we had finished them the barman we asked to replace them was so rude! Needless to say he refused and when I asked to speak to the Manager, I was confronted by an equally rude and dismissive man who then decided to have me thrown out because I dared to stand up for myself.
In addition, the music was overly loud and annoying and the atmosphere non-existent - probably because nobody on the entire bar team was smiling - the management included. Avoid The International at all costs - there are plenty of other good bars in this area where you might be able to finish a drink!
The International leaves a lot to be desired. I had a dreadful experience with the door man who refused my blind friend entrance with her guide dog! Then after the manager secured us an area and drinks to apologise, she reneged on any drinks. Working in a bar myself it is usual policy to give a few drinks to keep customers but not in The International.
Everything from the funky decor and friendly staff to the excellent food and drinks made for a great evening out at The International. I would highly recommend The International to anyone. Keep up the good work!
I thought The International was absolutely wonderful. Excellent cocktails & great wine list, both at very reasonable prices. The staff were friendly & attentive, and the other customers cool & funky. It's refreshing to find such a wonderful, down to earth bar in the West End as so many others are over-priced and pretentious. Well done The International!!
After ordering a Bacardi & Coke from the bar upon drinking this I found the drink horrible! When I asked the staff what was in it they said they had made it with Bacardi Gold. I explained I didn't ask for Bacardi Gold & Coke, which was not normal of a pub. They said that they were not a pub and that Bacardi Gold was normally served everywhere in London! They wanted to charge me for a 'Superior' Bacardi & Coke (what I had originally asked for)! Staff were very rude. Was waiting for Jeremy Beadle to jump out.
They have no customer service skills and I'm sure the £5.00 for the drink came out of the barman's wages. I have no sympathy, he was so unhelpful and rude too!
