This is without doubt the worst bar I've been in all my life. Dirty, old and dumpy. But worse, the owner of the bar. He burst into the street to those customers who were not eating, or cola consumed only. He touched us a glass of beer to see if it was cold or hot. He also burst out a customer that 1 centimeter sat beside the emergency exit, which of course was well bolted. Simply shameful ... and all this, drunk, of course. That a good image to customers.

This is the last proper Pub in the area. No flowers or candles on the tables here just good honest beer at reasonable prices. This is a bar where you're not robbed by the barstaff. A great juke box is 5 plays for £1. This has a very special place that hasn't change in 30 years, lots of old Irish and West Indian folks- just like it was back in the day. A blast from the past. If you want to know what Notting Hill, Ladbroke Grove and its community were like before the Class Cleansing, this is the place. We are the United Nations of the KPH! Anto Morra

The Kensington Park is outside Loftus Road and is my favourite place in the whole world. It's a spit and sawdust, unreconstructed shirking and working man's boozer that's not particularly savoury or sanitary. Guinness £2.70, pool a pound. Airs, graces and decorum are not stood on here. Yes, Margaret Thatcher, there is such a thing as society. Canopies up outside ready for smoking-ban, thanks Guvnor. Strictly no dogs, Aussies or Chelski.
