Nice little number. Great selection of beverages and even better selection of friendly members of staff! Great place for a perv, a dance, a Sunday roast and a lucky chance.. try the Pub quiz... its one of the best! Champagne winners - hello! Its got wonderful surroundings with eye opening decor... oh! the music's pretty damn on it too. Enjoy!
The perfect local pub. The food and beer is good, but I come mostly for the ridiculously friendly bar staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Indeed, what I like most about this pub - and why I give it full marks - is that, compared to a lot of the recently gastrofied Hackney pubs, the Kenton management have not alienated the original punters so you get a really refreshing mix of old and new Hackney folk.
Which is a very unique trait in what is becoming an uber hip neighbourhood. Otherwise, it's a great looking pub, well laid out, with lots of interesting events (including a well curated film night) and excellent music.
I've lived here a long time and have sampled pretty much all the pubs in the London Fields/Victoria Park area and this is the best of the lot.
Even though it might appear to be in an awkward part of Hackney, it's definitely worth a visit...
You will meet the friendliest bar staff in London at The Kenton.
You will hear the finest tunes in east london being played under the stairs at The Kenton and your taste buds will be dancing to the flavoursome pies.
If someone had said 'lets Go to a pub in the East end owned by a Norwegian' who chill-out...hell yeah lets go!
This place oozes 'different' from every pore. The staff are friendly and a great place to chill-out before or after a night out.
The music is eclectic and matches the anything goes attitude. Highly recommended for a lazy summers afternoon drink. The grub is good too.

Great little secret in Hackney, cozy atmosphere and funky interior. Good selection of beer, and the service was very friendly. Am definitely coming again soon for some pie & mash!
