Intimate, chic and sophisticated, The Kingly Club offers a wide choice of drinks and a funky soundtrack to party to.

The Venue
Located in Kingly Court, just off Carnaby Street and Golden Square, The Kingly Club is a short walk from Piccadilly Circus or Oxford Circus tube stations. Its discreet entrance was once home to the infamous Pinstripe Club, which played host to Oliver Reed, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, not to mention it was where John Profumo met Christine Keeler, sparking the ‘Profumo Scandal’ that led to the Pinstripe closing down.

These days it is The Kingly Club - an intimate space with capacity for just 120 people. It’s essentially one long narrow room, with a bar at one end and seating and booths further down. Decorated in stark whites and dramatic neons, the feel is fresh and clean with quirky design touches such as two huge fishtanks set into the wall, making the design fun and funky.

The Atmosphere
The Kingly Club is a private club, with 1,400 stylish and sophisticated members. More mature than other London clubbers, they are typically thirtysomethings with media, fashion and creative professions. They’re a powerful breed who want to let their hair down; facilitated by terrific staff, keen to stop and ask how your day has been, what else you have planned for the night, or if you’re enjoying your cocktail. This creates a buzzing and sociable vibe, which is important in a space so small.

The Music
The DJ at The Kingly Club offers up a fashionable selection of funky house, electro and dance classics, perfectly in keeping with the fun atmosphere the club is striving for. It’s more than enough to get you up dancing, though you may struggle to find the room!

The Drink
The choice of drinks is vast and sophisticated, with quality brand spirits such as Cuervo Tradicional tequila, Tanqueray gin and Stolichnaya vodka, 25 different Champagnes and over 70 cocktails to choose from. Must trys include the Glaciar Martini (with Grey Goose vodka, fresh peach, creme de menthe and cream) and the Davidoff Diva (Bombay Sapphire, lychee liqueur, fresh cucumber, elderflower cordial and a squeeze of lime), though a night here could make a serious dent in your bank balance, with cocktails costing up to £11 each.

The Last Word
Uplifting, fun and oh-so-exclusive, The Kingly Club is expensive, but worth every penny to enjoy the inspired interior design, unusual cocktails and a soundtrack that makes everyone smile.
