Went here Friday after work from about 6 til 8pm. It was a nice pub and the staff were nice but the music was so overly loud that we couldn't hear each other across the table. We ended up moving outside when it stopped raining for a while and there were a lot of other people out there complaining about the volume too. We would have liked to stay longer but we had to leave to be able to hear each other.
We usually go to The Last for work lunches, but ended up going last Friday night after work as they have a great happy hour (cheap wines and cocktails!) was only intending to stay for a bit before heading off to Kanaloa but ended up staying until until 1am. The dj was playing very cheesy music- exactly what I fancied after a hard week and we had a great night. Only problem was bar service was very slow as it was very busy.
just been to The Last glad to see the food has improved immensely since my last visit (last year - never wanted to go back) -had the fish special (strawberry grouper) - brilliant.
Dont know what the management have done but a lot better.

It's simply perfect at The Last. I find both the service and the food just great - well worth a visit if you're in the area. The staff are friendly and remember me everytime, even with it being busy. The Last is great.
Went to The Last for after work drinks on Friday evening and it was pumping! Straight after walking in a member of staff welcomed us with a big smile (impressive considering how many glasses he was carrying). Although we waited for our drinks, the staff were moving very quickly and were extremely entertaining, personality must be a pre-requisite here! The atmosphere was full on fun all night and my friends and I will definitely be back to The Last.
The Last is a fantastic bar for the chic West of The City crowd. The wall of glass around the bar with the Retro theme inside makes it a great place for the overly stressed City dwellers who come here to relax. A great place to take the new secretary if you're looking to impress...
