Classically old and refreshingly new, The Leather Exchange juxtaposes traditional decor with contemporary style, providing a warm and welcoming venue that’s hip and trendy to boot.

The Venue
The Leather Exchange is classically traditional with its high ceilings, papered walls and dark wooden furniture, but touches of modernity add that trendy vibe that makes the venue so popular with hip locals.

An assortment of modern prints adds jazz to the old-fashioned papered walls. The quirky building with its winding stairs and hidden rooms is furnished with a assortment of wooden tables and old style chairs, alongside modern touches like the comfy leather saddle-style bar stools and luxuriously cosy sofas on the first floor.

The Atmosphere
Not your typical Fullers venue, there are fewer regular ale drinkers at The Leather Exchange than expected. Instead, the daytime trade consists mostly of local office workers out for a swift pint and bite to eat, and the evenings are kept busy with trendy Londonites.

The Food
The varied menu provides a good lunchtime option for local workers. There's an assortment of snacks, sandwiches, and burgers with varied ingredients like grilled Halloumi and meaty Cumberland sausages. There's also the option of having blue cheese on your burger - a tasty and enhancing accompaniment. The snack selection is great for sharing tapas style with friends over a few beers or a bottle of wine.

The Drink
Although it’s a Fullers pub, the ale selection at The Leather Exchange is not as full as one might expect with London Pride and Swinglow being the only two on offer. Other drink selections are typical pub fare with regulars like Fosters and Guinness on tap with Sol and Peroni to name just a couple of the bottled options. Spirits consist of the usual, and cocktails can be made upon request by the competent staff.

The Last Word
Refreshing and different, The Leather Exchange brings style to the area. A great place to visit before heading into the city, or just a great place to go full stop.
