I went along with a friend yesterday around 4.30 p.m, only to find signs displaying
"closed for private function" This is not the first time, and indeed, seems to be happening more and more. This is supposed to be a PUBLIC HOUSE, but they open and close when it suits them, and not their customers, I will not be rushing back!

The reason for The Lord's Tavern being closed for private functions all the time is probably because their food and service is so good. Try to phone before going next time. - Report
