Left one star out because there is always room for improvement....but it is a relief to have a decent bar in Streatham, one that also serves GOOD food. I'm not sure what one of the previous reviewers was talking about, I didn't understand some of the English.... perhaps its not her first language..... but, for the quality of the food and service I think the price is very good. Ok its not a drug den anymore, or a cigarette-stained snooker hall, but who's going to miss that ? Manor Arms ! Well done on bringing some civilisation and culture to our corner of the London.

This is a fabulous and much needed addition to Streatham. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food is out of this world. We went and enjoyed their Prix Fixe menu on Thursday, 1st September and munched our way through three excellent courses for £15.50 per head, which we thought was very reasonable. Everything was excellent, from the tuna cake through to the victoria plums with cobnuts (delish!) and the wine was excellently chosen. The Manor Arms was ghastly before, but now it has been taken over it has a wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food and drink, ranging from real ale through to juices and cocktails! I thoroughly encourage everyone to come and try The Manor Arms - it's a gem and you won't be disappointed.

food is very expensive , please remember your in streatham and not west end live local and knew it as the pub wont go there again staff don't know what they are doing they are arrogant and prices and to high

I can't argue with this review enough. Streatham needs MORE establishments like this. It was appalling before - really unpleasant and unwelcoming. Now it serves excellent food at good prices with a focus on seasonal, changeable menus.

I had been desperate for somewhere like this to come to Streatham and now that it has I shall definitely be visiting regularly.

Personally, I always take note of reviews where people can a) spell and b) use punctuation.
