The last time I was at the Marquis of Wellington they were going through a bit of a revamp and, boy did they need it. This was a dingy little pub with not a lot going for it - the decor was very dated and it was severly lacking in atmosphere. The Marquis of Wellington isn't really my idea of a pub where you'd want to sit and let time pass you by.

well its about time you went back there.......

.........i,ve been to this pub several times now,even had my birthday party there,they have seperate bar for parties etc,found it to be a nice friendly pub,with a nice selection of food and drink,catering for almost everyone!!!

even kids,nice outside smoking area at back,seating at front of pub also.very plesent pub indeed,staff friendly,have pool table,sky sports shown on big screen and tv,s.

not an overcrowded or too noisie pub,nice pub for all family members to visit,do a super sunday roast with discounts for o.a.p,s and kids
