This use to be the best pub on the manor but seems to have lost something. It use to so effortlessly cater for fashion victims AND locals at the same time, but now it's attempt to be a 'genuine boozer' seems so contrived that I laugh inwardly like a dog every time I visit, which given that I now live in Whitstable isn't very often. A shame.

The Old Red Lion is a charming old pub. It is a nice comfortable pub with lots of sofas to relax on. The Old Red Lion attracts a mix of locals, soap stars, office workers and theatre goers. There is still a cool old theatre upstairs which really makes it stand out amongst London pubs in my opinion.
