Great place for a few drinks although I can be a nightmare getting to the bar on a Friday evening!

Have only eaten there for Sunday Roast but both times it was excellent. The seasonal braised beef cheeks are to die for.

Thank God we leave earlier on a Friday, other wise you are going to be pushed just to get in to here! Great out door area with cover at the back for smokers like me. Also for the 1st time since my teens day a pint glass with a handle, and also we had some great ales. We didn't have the food so can't comment on that but it is a pub not a restaurant and 99% are here drinking!

Went for dinner last Friday and was happily surprised. It was a bit of a mission elbowing my way through the outside drinkers but once inside and up the stairs it was all cosy candles and yummy food. Would reccomend booking a table as it was busy.
