Went for a Christmas night out - I have to say the food is terrible. It rates as one of the worst meals I have been presented with. The starter was dry, the bream was dry and tasteless, the christmas pudding was totally inedible , you could not cut it with a knife, I can only be honest and say avoid the food at all cost. However the staff were charming and very apologetic.

One rarely finds pubs with ambiance in big cities like London, but after a recent change in management the pubs atmosphere has really sky rocketed.

The staff are very friendly the food is good and the drinks are great.

As well as having boardgames and a Nintendo Wii they have a great pub quiz on Thursdays and an amazing roast on Sundays.

If you do end up going be sure to ask them for their house special drink which i stumbled upon(the doctor pepper - its not what you think) you wont find it on menus just ask..

..as a fore mentioned I would highly recommend this place.

Food great! service great! loved the south park character drawing competition, met the new manager he was very welcoming andd the chef also came out to chat to us about the menu(which the food is fantastic especially the moroccan stew!). The review before mine doesnt do this pub justice, so ignore it. What an allround wicked experience.

Nice enough pub, but the food is appalling. The menu bangs on about “produce provenance” and “cuts of meat taken from top quality breeds”, but my ten quid burger (that’s right – ten quid!) tasted for all the world like it came out of a catering pack. Also, our chips looked and tasted like they’d been sitting around all day.

Ok for a drink, but I’d steer clear of the food.
