The Prince Regent has good design and is in a good location but unfortunately these positives are negated by the inability of the bar staff to keep track of who is next to order at the bar. Professional bar staff should be able to keep track of who is next to order, and in my opinion, an inability or a desire to do this shows utter amateurism and the only option is to vote with your feet. On a few occasions in the Prince Regent I have given the bar staff the benefit of the doubt but on this occasion I decided why give my money to a bar that has no clue about this unwritten rule of pub etiquette, and a sloppy disregard for customer satisfaction. On this occasion I approached the bar counter where a short haired girl was on duty. Another guy approached just after me. She served him first but I decided to leave it. Then another guy approached. A second member of bar staff approached and asked the first girl who was next, and she pointed to the other guy. When I protested she had a casual look of disdain (do you really not like your job?), and offhandedly remarked that she'd serve me next. I said I think not, and removed myself to the infinitely better Coco Momo down the road at the next corner. The manager of the Prince Regent Francesca should really look at training these staff members in the art of bar tending.

Ordered food, waited 45 minutes, complained (Said without rasing my voice or swearing or being aggresive) why it was taking so long, had my order cancelled and told to leave.

Went to the Prince Regent for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Bar staff were very friendly and helpful, and recommended a nice wine at a reasonable price.

We ordered food which was ok - burger was a bit dry - but not too expensive so wasn't that disappointed.

The decor was nice, and the seating a mixture of comfy sofas and high stools. Comfortable/relaxed atmoshere.

Check out the girls toilets! Would definitely go back if in the area.

The place looks pretty cool, but unfortunately flat pints seems to be normal for the staff as well as the landlord. So don't take the risk to complain because I guess customer opinion is not that important to The Prince Regent. I don't recommend!

Recent experience has shown The Prince Regent to be a decent enough modern pub. It's relatively large, and the fact that plenty of people use this as a starting point for an evening out, means that you stand a good chance of getting a seat even on a busy Saturday. Of particular note at The Prince Regent is the good selection of lagers they have on tap.

The Prince Regent showed promise following its refurb but a few months down the line, the standards are slipping, the food inedible and the staff could not care less.

Sadly, the locals are desperate for somewhere to go and will probably to The Prince Regent regardless of the appalling standards.

The Prince Regent has been newly refurbished to a high standard. Efficient, friendly service. Well worth a visit.
