It's great to know that there are still great Irish pubs in London, keep up the good work. My favourite band has to be 'The bible code Sundays' whom I've seen at the Quays many times, fantastic.x (Pamela Cottle- a proud Dub)
This shit hole is full of bog hopping farmers, there is an overpowering smell of cattle in the place and the food is shite,,,cant say any fairer than that.
Took family to The Quays on sunday last to watch Kilkenny v Cork , decided to have lunch and what a disappointment . The Chicken was tough , the lamb shank lacked meat and the bacon and cabbage was poor . The veg arrived and i would say that there wasn't even a carrot between two of us .
What a shame !
If you like ugly old people then this is the place for you. This is a great place for a late drink as this is open until 6am. But don't go there as a last chance saloon to pull the ladies, as quality is few and far between in this establishment. I mean, I am 30 years old, but some of the old sloshers in here are double my age, and just as game, in their dirty mini skirts waiting for abit of saucise. Dont get me wrong. Dj Terry plays some great tunes if you like that chart pony, and if you're Irish then you will feel especially at home. Also, there are a few female regular faces, that always seem to be there on their own. Waiting for that special saucisson, but let me tell you. They will be waiting for the rest of their lives. I reckon I would give The Quays 2 stars on the scoreboard. Birds are ugly but always up for some.
This is the place to be!! Best thing since sliced bread!! if you go here make sure to wear your dancing shoes!
The Quays seems to be a nice place during the week for a girlie chat but it gets a bit rowdy at the weekends. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere can be good but sometimes it gets a bit much for me.
I don’t mind The Quays every now and then but I don’t think it’ll become my regular.
I have been a regular at The Quays for the past 10 years. The Quays has an excellent atmosphere and great food, and the bar staff and doormen are very friendly. The Quays is the best live music venue in North London.
On Fridays and Saturday you can listen to the most amazing bands and after that you can be taken into oblivion with the most wicked sounds from the excellent resident DJ. His music collection seems infinite. I think its more important to hear how good a DJ is than see them. The only criticism I have is that I wish the DJ could play longer.
I have been going to The Quays for a few years now. DJ Terry was very good and his Sunday Karaoke was the best. He had loads of songs, we had a great laugh with him and we used to love going to The Quays until he was replaced by another DJ.
This one now does Friday and Saturday nights as well, and this is why I have stopped going altogether. He is the worst I have ever seen in my life. The pub itself however, is the best in the area.
The Quays is a very nice place to go to. They have live music and a dancefloor. karaoke on a Sunday is very good. You should all go to The Quays on a Sunday, it's wild.
I just had to write a quick note to say that in my opinion, The Quays is the best pub for young Irish people in London. Every night I've been there it's been a blast. The music, the food, the cocktails - they have it all. So from one cailin as an gcontae Corcai " is iontach an ait e".
My name is Heni and I like drink as my face is quite hairy. The Quays is the perfect place to meet other hairy girls who like me prefer the natural look. Catch me on the podium at The Quays.
