The staff are way too slow in here. There's always a huge queue at the bar. The only thing that bar staff are good at is avoiding eye contact and looking busy. Oh yea, and being rude.

The Rocket is student central - and if you're looking for a cheesy/bad student night out, then this is the place to do it, especially on Thursday nights. So if you're a UCL student looking for an extension of the union experience then by all means give it a visit.


The Rocket has a late license that encourages late night student frolics, but it needs to be open late if you'll ever have a chance of being served - this place gets rammed and the staff just can't cope. In summary, The Rocket is not a place for me, but if you're looking for that particular type of student night out, then you can't go far wrong.

Great student hang out, The Rocket rocks!! This place heaves on a Friday and Saturday night - really pumps. The only downfall is fighting your way to get more drinks. The last time I went to The Rocket I ended up staying until closing and can't remember getting home!! There are lots of fun people at The Rocket and the atmosphere is awesome.
