Arrived on a Monday for a few drinks and a meal. It was understandably quiet but maintained a good atmosphere with attractive decor and good music. Papers were readily available and staff very welcoming and chatty.

Drinks were on the expensive side but main course was half price (a Monday promotion I understand). The food was average; nothing to write home about if I'm honest. The Rose also falls victim to an irritating trend towards retro style seating which equates to inconsistent, basic and sometimes plain uncomfortable seats.

Having said all that, we had a good time here and will return on the weekend to experience the place when busier.

The Rose was done up at the beginning of the year and is now one of my favourite pubs. The garden is lovely, especially now in the summer months and the food is fantastic, they have a good selction of wines too which is hard to come by in a pub. I cannot recommend The Rose highly enough if you are looking for gastro pub with great decor and delicious nosh!

The Rose is an absolute gem, and I agree completely with the recent View London review. The drink, food and service are excellent, but the real winner for this pub - especially at this time of year - is the beautiful beer garden. Truly a hidden gem in London.

They had removed all of the screens that used to show sport in the pub's recent incarnations, but these have returned specially for the World Cup. I'll certainly be making use of them!

I checked out this pub on Friday night and was delighted to find that it had changed owners and now a lovely place to have a post work pint.

It was quiet quiet but that's because its new - well relaunched - and the hordes haven't found it yet but they will.Good selections of beers & wine, nice nibbles and really friendly staff.

I spotted a beer garden out the back - i'll checkl that out in summer.

We didn't eat but i did see a few other eating and it looked amazing - they seem to do a nice spin on traditional meals.

I'll check out their Sunday roasts next week and report back.Big thumbs up so far!

Top quality pub with recent make over. The new owners have changed all that and now it's lovely - haleulia!

This pub is the closest pub to my house in Fulham and should be my local pub but it has been through so many owners & makeovers and has never had a real identity.

The decor is really underdstated but charming; they serve a much better selection of beer and the food is delicious. They have taken out the sky sports screens which is a bit of a loss but frankly the whole pub is now so much better that who cares.

If you like good, hearty pub food this pub is now a fully fledged gastropub. My girlfriend and I went for Sunday lunch and tried the pork (her) and beef (me).

Both were cooked to perfection and served with fresh, organic veg. They got it just right and at £14 you can't do much better in the area.I'm so happy i could sing. I'll be back next week for a second serving!
