The Salisbury Tavern has done a 180 degree turn around. Wow! After dining there almost a year ago and having suffered a terrible time I was most pleased to eat there last night. The service was a delight, with extremely efficient waiters tending to my every need and reccommending the most wonderful choices on the menu. With a supremely talented chef at the helm the salisbury is my new place of choice.

The recommended wine at The Salisbury Tavern was easily quaffed and I was very pleased to note that my favourite wine, the barbera d'asti was the vintage of choice ie the 2003, a very keen observation by the management.

After tucking into a delicious roasted rump of norfolk lamb i sipped a well made cup of coffee and loved every mouthful of the cheese cake. I have decided to take my company members there for our end of month staff lunch. What a treat with the glass sliding roof! Well done Salisbury.

The Salisbury Tavern is a great looking bar and really superb looking restaurant. The staff are well informed, professional, and really charming. The food is very good too, a notch above anything else in the area plus the wine is reasonably priced and there's an extensive list.

It's really great to be able to go somewhere and have the full package of great service, good food and drink and such an inviting atmosphere. We have become regulars at The Salisbury Tavern and will probably stay regulars for a long time...

The worst meal out I've ever had! The Salisbury Tavern utterly shambolic.

The air conditioning was freezing, we were under a vent and ended up in coats and gloves! It took nearly two hours to have our order taken, and even then the waiter had to return no less than 5 times to make changes as they had run out of nearly everything we wanted.

It then took another hour for any of our starters to arrive and they kept coming in dribs and drabs for the next 40 minutes. Ditto for the main courses, which were not entirely as advertised (e.g. the 'shoulder of lamb' which was tiny and luke warm.

The apple crumble at The Salisbury Tavern was a joke, a tiny jar quarter filled with tepid stewed apple, topped with raw muesli!
And they kept forgetting to bring our drinks order.

Frankly The Salisbury Tavern was so unbelievably bad that in the end, after over four hours, we were crying with laughter. The managers offer by way of apology was token at best. I wouldn't go back if they were paying me to.

I can't stand The Salisbury Tavern, particularly on a Sunday when hordes of rugby-jerseyed idiots decide that their conversations are much more interesting than yours and inflict them upon you. In that respect it's almost as bad as The Fulham Mitre.

The restaurant at The Salisbury Tavern isn't bad but I had an insulting cottage pie which was marginally less appetising than a cold Pot Noodle despite being as expensive as a yacht. Avoid.

The Salisbury Tavern is outstanding. Brilliant food and service in a modern, comfy atmosphere.

A word of warning though - The Salisbury Tavern is good, but you get what you pay for. Worth it as far as I'm concerned.

I love the food at The Salisbury Tavern. We eat here a lot and are never disappointed. They take a lot of care with the food and the bar staff are great. The Sailsbury Tavern has a lovely atmosphere and is great to relax in.
