Nice place - modern (which you couldn't tell from the name) with fantastic views. Good pizza too. A bit of a find.

Went to Samuel Pepys for the first time with some friends in November and was v impressed. For a start you wouldn't know it was there, as it is down a small lane off Upper Thames Street (took me a while to find it, finally getting there via a footbridge from Queen Victoria Street). Inside has cool decor and nice views across the Thames. Pizzas were surprisingly good for a pub (and v large) and they had a lot of beers on tap. All in all a bit of a hidden gem really. Will definitely be going back!

Samuel Pepys has fantastic view over the river. The drinks are pretty cheap and the menu is good. Samuel Pepys has good bar staff though their choice of music is not the best.
