where are the ales! very good though. good food, comfortable.
Things must have changed there since the reviews in 2008. Lovely friendly pub. Bar staff very friendly and helpful.
Quaint little bar, with dart board in the corner. Food average, but good enough for an afternoon bite. No comlpaints.
This is a wonderful pub and place to for DART and drinks
This pub is rammed and decorated poorly. But the most offensive thing is the little man behind the bar. Not only is he a bitchy queen, he's aggressive, rude and I will never go back. I hope this dive closes by the end of 08.
The Sea Horse is the most unfriendly pub in London. No contest. Following a pleasant summer's stroll over the Millennium Bridge, my three American friends and I were foolish enough to stop in this soulless, practically empty and hostile pub. After ordering three pints, I then asked for a glass of tap water for my teetotal friend. This request was not only illegally refused but was accompanied by an aggressive sermon on running a business. To cap it all, a four letter expletive was muttered as my friend quietly and with the utmost dignity walked out of this dismal venue. The Sea Horse gave unbelievably poor service. What an embarrassment in terms of representing our wonderful capital city at a time of great tension with the terrorist bombings. In my opinion, The Sea Horse is the worst pub in the UK where you are served by a landlord who talks the business but can't run one.
There's not really a heart and soul at The Sea Horse. It's a very small semi-circular pub with an arc of windows facing the pavement. There's a constant stream of office workers, but no real local crowd. The Sea Horse is also very quiet and has no atmosphere.
