what an awful grubby place. NO the food is NOT nice, it's awful, only desperate tourists would want to eat in there, honestly. But worse of all has got to be their toilets- it is simply the filthiest toilets I have ever seen. they must be used by every passer by/tourist who pass thru Victoria, and they are in FILTHY conditions. The management should get the right cleaning arrangements as I cannot believe food is handled in a place where the toilets can be so incredibly dirty.

Shakespeare Tavern place is just rubbish. It's not awful or unpleasant, just dull, uninspired and surviving purely on its proximity to Victoria.

I mean what kind of pub doesn't stock crisps? This one. Shakespeare Tavern? Mediocrity personified.

Shakespeare Tavern was terrible. I waited over an hour for a waitress to take my order, then only because I went to her. After another half-hour, my food did not arrive and I left the pub.

It appears that Shakespeare Tavern survives because of its proximity to Victoria Station and does not require repeat business.

I rated this establishment a 1 because there is no lower rating.

The Shakespeare Tavern offers really great food and the staff (Darren and Roberto) were very helpfull in my beer selection. The fish and chips were really, really nice. The Shakespeare Tavern is a great place with great people.

Shakespeare Tavern is a great place to sit outside
in the summer and watch all types of travellers leave Victoria Station.

The Shakespeare has a good selection of cask conditioned ales and once in a while when I show
up, they may have "Old Peculiar" on cask. YES!
I can only get it in bottles in the States.

I find the food a bit better than average for pub
grub.
