The Slug and Lettuce was a standard chain bar. The service was acceptable, the food was average and the venue wasn’t anything special but it’s a good place for a stop before a night out.

The Slug and Lettuce used to be a bank, funny as bankers probably drink there now!! It is a nicely fitted out place, light and big with an upstairs.
The Slug and Lettuce feels more like a restaurant, especially upstairs. The staff however are all young and most lack experience. If you do dine there ask to be seated on the sofas and cubes - you get table service and don't have to queue.
