Great little pub opposite Canonbury Station. THey advertise themselves as a 'Bar - Diner' which is kind of true. They have very good value food that's not half bad inluding a very respsctable price for fresh oysters and soda bread. The walls are adorned with posters from the 60s and 70s and they often show muted retro films / music vidoes on a projectin screen.

They have an extremely old juke box (the kind where you can see the records being moved around read via a needle) with some great old tunes that cost only £1 for 5!

Pub Quiz is ona Tuesday and is fiendishly difficult so larger groups would be advised.

Customers are generally quite young and try hard but these are thankfully balanced by some decent locals.

Very friendly place and thoroughly recommended.
