Anyone who knows Turkish Food will be amazed at how traditional this food actually is. I lived in Turkey for 10 years, and since I moved back to England 6 years ago - This is the genuinely the closest thing you will get!

Maybe its the traditional music, maybe it's the Belly Dancers? NO - its Traditional Turkish Cuisine cooked by Turkish chefs that make the food taste different to your 'standard' Turkish restaurant.

I have to applaud the service too, and on my second visit - they recognised me and gave me free Turkish Coffee (which I love!) and some Turkish Delight.

Thanks again Stone Cave - I hope this place doesn't change!!

I spent my 40th Birthday celebrating with friends and family in the Stone Cave.

As always, the food was excellent, the atmosphere exhilarating and the staff delightful.

There are few places in London where you can be assured of this, plus be entertained for free with belly dancing, authentic Turkish music and dancing.

Thank you!

i went to stone cave this weekend we had great time, who ever goes to stonecave should try the humus with falafel this was our starter my friend had mix cold&hot meze they were delicious as well my main course was special mix kebab because i wanted to try different types of kebab all was verry good but adana kebab and lamb chops was excellent.

belly dance show was great but there was a waiter called dennis he plays better than the belly dancer we stayed for live music as well it waiters were super.basically there is too much to say but please go down to STONECAVE and see what i am talking about but dont forget the humus with warm bread.

Top Marks! for a fantastic restaurant, .

From the time we arrived to the time we left the service was excellent and very professional not at all intrusive. The food was also excellent, very fresh, from our starter to our main meal

We didn't have to wait long to be served even though the restaurent was full, we wasn't rushed, .And to our surprise it was cheap. And to round it all off there was Live entertainment later part of the evening, didn't want to go home!

we will certainly be back.

I've lived in Stokey for about two years and heard only good things about the Stone Cave, so when we finally got round to going I hoped we could show our visiting friend the quality of Turkish food and entertainment available in Stokey.

For starters we had the hot mixed meze, hummus and lambs' liver with onion salad, these came pretty quickly and were OK, the onion salad and the falafels on the mixed meze were good but there wasn't very much and the liver was quite tough.I had a traditional Turkish diced lamb and tomato dish I can't remember the name of.

It was far too salty, so overcooked it was stuck to the pan and the portion wasn't very big - three mouthfuls and it was gone!My girlfriend had the aubergine kebab which was tiny and bathed in a watery sauce and was probably the worst of the lot.

Our friend did alright with the iskender kebab - shish lamb with yogurt and tomato sauce, it tasted great but was let down by having a few bones and gristly lumps in. It was also quite rich and got to be a little much by the end.

The service was very friendly and attentive with the waiters constantly thanking us for our cooperation and the belly dancer was pretty impressive but there are other restaurants in Stokey to get better food with much bigger portions from at the same price-

Numera 19 Bos Cirrik #3 for instance (I haven't eaten at #1 but I'm sure its good too).Overall we were pretty disappointed - the main meals took ages to come and when they did they weren't very good, the drinks were expensive and we were sat at a table right next to the door which was really cold and draughty. And the food definitely wasn't cheap. I wouldn't go again to eat, just to look at the belly dancer balancing a sword on her boobs through the window.

The Stone Cave has such a good name, it hints at somewhere cosy to spend a winter's evening. The venue doesn't disappoint either, it's a great little Turkish place with some of the nicest staff I've ever encountered. Reason alone to vist the Stone Cave.

Stone Cave is quite nice. The food is made well and tastes good - my friend and I both liked it a lot. This was the first time I had tried this kind of food but thought it great.

The staff at Stone Cave were cool too and brought us the food with speed which is good. We left a tip so it must have been great!
