As City pubs go this is one of the best. A proper pub, the staff are generally female and attractive, Youngs beer which is kept well.

Pool and Darts in the downstairs bar but the upstairs bar and the side pavement is where the majority go.

The pavement to the front and especially the side is perfect in good weather for drinking, smoking and people watching. Busy, friendly and highly recommended.

The Three Lords is a pub with almost everything. However many people are at the bar, the service is always very good, friendly and attractive and you'd be unlucky to be waiting more than a minute for your pint (or whatever). The regulars are friendly and most people like to unwind after a hard days work in the city. Its often lively with music from the appx 5,000 song juke box playing varied tunes and a live singer, Alton, about every other Thursday. (He also brings his karaoke machine for after his set). There's a comfortable and sociable outside area too, away from the main road. Well worth a visit. Many people have visited once, get the 'bug' and re-visit on many occasions, including famous ex-footballer, Alan Brazil, a 'larger than life' character who is now a well-known Talksport radio presenter.

If you’re looking for a decent pub in the city then The Three Lords isn’t a bad place to start. It gets quite busy at lunchtimes and in the early evenings but the atmosphere is good and the food tasty. You could do worse than The Three Lords.

The Three Lords isn't really a restaurant as they only serve food at lunchtimes. This is a Young's pub that's a favourite with the commuting crowd - plenty of drinking on a Friday night!

If you want a big night out then you'd do well to start in The Three Lords. Not one for a quiet meal!
