Hmm... The Vauxhall Griffin is a tricky one. I often go to the Griffin on a Saturday afternoon, when for some reason, it is closed. The staff are friendly, yet slightly aloof. Drinks are cheap but lacking in variety. It's an incredibly cool pub, and not in the uber trendy way. Old geezers rub shoulders with young hipsters and all seem to get along fine in the tight packed neo-Victorian atmosphere that the Griffin seems to love/hate. I would be undecided if it weren't for the pool table (always free) and the wasabi nuts (always spicy) that I've grown to love. Definetely worth a try.

Wyvils has such a good atmosphere - there was none of that 'looking round at the newcomer' when I walked in and everyone seemed really friendly. Good choice of drinks too. Wyvils is certainly worth a visit.
