A very pretentious establishment with good service but overpriced and poor quality food. The manager seems to think he's working in a West End eatery rather than in a backstreet pub. There are dozens of alternative places to eat within a mile or two that don't feel it necessary to charge almost £15 for a part cooked and semi warm Sunday lunch.

I work for a large company nearby and have been there on several occasions. Every time I have been for lunch, I regret it. the food is average, and the service terribly slow.

Don't go if you'd like a quick lunch, it'll take you over 15 mins to get your drink and food order even taken.

I have also on occasion had to telephone my guests' orders through, sadly this didnt help at all. :(

Someone from my workplace suggested going this lunchtime, I advised against it, but they went anyway and I'm sad to say The Weir didn't dissappoint, slow service and confused menu once again. Oh well there is always the itallian round the corner.
