It's alright - but as a lunchtime haunt for your honest workers, it's wrong - we've been using it for a few months, and the prices are a big let-down, and there's been one occasion we've had to wait an unacceptable time for food. Staff are nearly always friendly and polite though (although in short supply at times)

If you like relaxing in the sun during the summer months, this is a place to try. Set by the banks of the charming river Wandle, in an historic area, The William Morris serves up a great meal and a good selection of drinks which can be consumed on the beautiful terrace alongside the river. Perfect for lazy summer afternoons.

I couldn't disagree more with the last review of The William Morris. The William Morris is a great find - how many other bars in London have a large outdoor river terrace and beautiful river views in a charming historic building?


Plus you can hire the terrace for your own BBQ and Pimms party which is very cool. I've been there a few times and the staff are always very helpful. Worth a visit for summer evening relaxing on the river...

We used to enjoy a quiet sunday evening drink in the William Morris, now it is horrid, a bottle of wine up by £3, music so loud you cannot hear yourself speak, dodgy customers and indifferent staff. The William Morris is now such a disappointment.
