Quite frankly I am not even going to consider going to Thornbury Castle. I called at 11am to ask whether they ran pub trivia nights and was rudely informed that it was a stupid time to call as they were setting up the pub... Then the lady hung up on me... Not being one to give up I called back again and was told to 'stop bugging' the lady. I think Thornbury Castle need to seriously train their staff on phone etiquette and customer service.

Thornbury Castle is a great place. It has a wide variety of food & drink, very friendly owners and bar staff, and a wonderful family atmosphere. You can't ask for more from a pub!
