I am an American beer lover, Homebrewer etc. Just happened to stumble upon this pub one afternoon, The Three Crowns - St. James, and then considered myself very lucky.

A sincere English gentlemen and businessman invited our party to sit at his table because of limited seating at that time. We then found out what how lucky we were to stumble into a pub that serves only "real ale".

The ales were outstanding, especially the stong ale. After an hour or so of the Three Crowns, 4 to 5 beers were down and we were happy Texans lost in London. The food was good too. Overall a great afternoon - will be back someday.
