I drink here regularly and have never had a bad pint. As well as the usual lagers they serve guest bitters and sometimes ciders.

The ambience is really nice and relaxed. It can get crowded but the staff serve quickly and I've never seen it rowdy. They also have music, poetry events and so on upstairs.

I stop here whenever I'm in the area, although I'm not a regular, this is just due to me living elsewhere.

The Three Kings of Clerkenwell is my local for lunch during the working week and I am a big fan. But there is one thing sacred, yet also utterly basic about serving beer...there are no excuses for serving flat, insipid larger. Normally it's such a good standard, but today's lunchtime pint
was a challenge too far; even celebrity guests in a Jungle would find it hard to swallow. I was eventually advised by the barman at the Three Kings of Clerkenwell to get my money back and try down the road...oh dear, oh dear.
