Came here on Saturday night with my girlfriend (before heading off to the Zoo bar - see later review!) Was Saturday 5th July - got there around half 11 and was in within 10 mins i reckon - doormen/ barstaff/ everyone was fine and the place is an excellent venue - but the sounds were just unimaginative, and no more than you'd hear in any small-town club!!

Pity :(

My girlfriend and I went to Tiger Tiger on a Saturday night... 5th July. Got there around half 11 - had to queue maybe 10 mins to get in - doormen were absolutely fine... curteous and professional - paid a tenner each to get in - barstaff were quick and pleasant enough - paid i think £4 for a bottle of beer. The place was fairly packed - seemed like a reasonable mix of people - no aggro or bad vibes - so far so good but..... the sounds!!! Don't expect anything other than that which you'd hear in any small-town club!!Sorry Tiger Tiger but a fancy, well laid out place doesn't make up for unimaginative sounds!

Went here VERY randomly on a Monday student night...if you're looking for a cheap night out in central London and a great boogie with friends this is the place to go...not pretentious but the student atmosphere makes it non-rowdy. Double vodka's were £2.50....AMAZING value for London! But if you're looking for a quiet sophisticated drink probably not the best place to go...!

Went here last night, with some trepidation, as I'd heard of some very mixed reviews. Stayed for two hours, and was happy that we came in happy hour :-) The cocktails were good value for the happy hour price, - and the atmosphere wasn't too pretentious. The toilets were a bit stinky. Overall, we had a pretty fab time, it was a good place to go for pre-dinner drinks in a central location.

For about 5 years I came to Tiger Tiger on-and-off, It used to be really dirty fun and the bouncers were brilliant and very professional (I’ve become good friends with a couple who have left now)... BUT... new management took over at some point and have disgraced this place. Now it's a cheap. I'm so gutted because I have a ton of good memories in Tiger Tiger. Now I only go if I’m dragged in by my mates (who are new to this venue) and leave once they are too drunk to notice... that’s if we get past the bouncers (apart from one doorman who is still cool).

I have been going to Tiger for a few years now normally dragged along after work by some of my younger colleagues, but have to say that it has got immeasuralby better. The staff are fantastic, and the music superb.
Whatever you have changed, keep it.

I tried this new venue names TIGER TIGER on PICADILLY CIRCUS, that was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, never seen something like that! and im used to go often out after work.

the staff is not really trainee to do a bar job, i asked them a mojito, i got something looked like a soda rhum minth without sugar and a strange taste... they serve you really quickly without pay attention to make a nice cocktail...

Staff is not really warmfull and polite, i wait 1 hour before to be served even if the barmaid looking at me everytime.

Anyway don't go there, there are lots of place in picadilly circus one thousand better than TIGER TIGER, im really disapointed, BELIEVE ME!

We went here after work last wednesday night at around 7pm. Only 10 people in the building, and only the ground floor front bar was open with 1 english-as-a-second-language bartender. Here is what was wrong:
-they took our food order and forget to serve us our mezz platter. after 40 min and reminding twice, it came. The mezz platter came with a teaspoon of dressing in a paper ramikin.
-they served us a bottle of rose wine out of A PLASTIC JUG AND 2 PLASTIC WINE GLASSES, because apparently its the law!
-the toilets stank!
-all the hi tables wobbled. Fortuantely, we managed to move to a 2 seater booth, but the table was sticky, and with only 1 bartender on, no one to clean it for us.
-the drinks menu and selection is appalling. Same drinks they had 5 years ago and badly layout menu.
-the whole bar was freezing as the front door was left open. my mate went to shut it, after mentioning it to the doorman. then the manager opened it again ten min later. AGAIN, my mate went to close it, and the manager said it needs to stay open and that the upstairs had opened up, so we could move there. Which we did. We sat in one of the rather large grey booths. These STANK of puke.

After that , we left. Give me a good old fashioned pub anyday if this is what you call a 'style bar'!

I've never had lunch or dinner at Tiger Tiger, so I can't comment on the food there.

I'd recommend the place as a fun club to hang out. There are different dancefloors and music styles. It can get quite packed though on weekends.

I always had a good time here so far...

Five of us went to Tiger Tiger on Friday night whilst in London on a hen weekend. We were shown to a table for 4, not a good start especially as a booth had been requested! They pulled another table up so we could sit together & we were situated at the top of the stairs that lead to the toilets & cloakroom. Avoid this table at all costs, the smell everytime the toilet doors open is awful & really puts you off your food!! Our waiter took our drinks order but wasn't happy that we wanted water with our meal, if looks could kill. Two of us also ordered a jug of cocktail, don't bother, it's a cocktail of ice & water, you couldn't taste any alcohol at all, a waste of money. Our starters arrived within a few minutes of ordering & were very nice but the waiter constantly walked up & down waiting for us to finish, very off putting & then he took our plates before we'd even swallowed the last mouthful! We found this highly amusing, he didn't! The mains arrived within a few minutes of us finishing our starters, not leaving enough time to let it settle or us to relax. The mains were nice but nothing special. The Vegatable Noodles were very stodgy in a thick plum sauce that was very spicy & overpowering, not good when the description makes them appear to be a light dish. The Salmon fishcakes were ok but deep fried spoiling the flavour & texture slightly. Throughout the whole meal none of us felt relaxed due the the overbearing waiter pacing up & down & where we were seated was awful. When our bill arrived we were charged for everything we had to eat & drink which is quite normal, however our meals were pre-booked & paid for weeks before we went. The waiter didn't believe us even though I gave him our receipt as proof! Eventually they found our booking & it was sorted out but we left feeling very disgruntled & disappointed. Tiger Tiger seems like an ok place to go for after work drinks & a quick bite to eat but if you're celebrating & want to chill out & have fun avoid.

I had lunch at this restaurant a few weeks ago, as part of a meal + theatre booking via lastminute.com. The starter was still half frozen, unfortunately I tried some without realising, requested a new portion, but by the time I got to the theatre, I was sick with food poisoning. I reported the incident, which was investigated, but resulted in nothing.

Don't eat at this place.

Avoid this tourist trap at all cost! We thought we were getting a good deal with the Tiger Tiger 50 per cent off offer, but I ended up getting an awfully bland and overcooked salmon that I couldn't even finish (not even half of it!) as well as a half price cocktail that tasted like it was half water.

Service was really average too. Don't be fooled by the nice look from the outside. Tiger Tiger isn't great.

I went to Tiger Tiger on Saturday night. I had a good time, drinks were normal price, £11.00 for two vodka and cokes. The music was good a nice mixture. The only thing I will say is that it was so busy you could hardly move and some people thought it was okay to have wandering hands! Overall Tiger Tiger is a really good club.

I love Tiger Tiger. It's the only club I really like in central London. The people are friendly, as are the bar staff and their cocktails are reasonably priced. Some other drinks are a little pricey but not considering Tiger Tiger is a very popular London venue.

The food at Tiger Tiger was horrible - the salad was tasteless, the sauce that came with the burnt chicken had so much garlic in it that even two days later I could still taste it.

The fruit salad was made out of defrosted fruit - it was absolutely shocking! For £30.00 per head I was expecting much more.
The staff was very nice though and over all we had a nice evening, thanks to alcohol. But I will never go back to Tiger Tiger again.

Me and my friend go to Tiger Tiger all the time, the music is fab and the people there are all friendly and are out to have a good time. Last time we went my friend lost her bag, so we left my number with them in case they found it. They phoned me at 3:30am to say they had found it!

The staff were great and I really can't get enough of Tiger Tiger. Don't listern to other people, check this place out for yourself.

I recently celebrated my 21st birthday at Tiger Tiger. Word of advice - don't bother booking a booth! It really is a con. Fact is you are only for 2 teeny plates of food which probably feed 4-6 people. And like me if you have a party of 15 it isnt worth it!

The booths in the Blue Bar at Tiger Tiger are small and can realistically only fit 8 people. As everyone else has mentioned drinks really are expensive. Don't get doubles! The cocktails arent bad but half of the jug is filled with ice anyway.

You need to get there early as it gets ridiculously packed. I still managed to have a good night but can safely say I wont be going back again!

I couldn't agree more with the last reviewer. I got to Tiger Tiger early enough to avoid the bouncer's gaze, but everything else said I agree with completely.

Tiger Tiger is far too busy, the strict dress code policy does not deter the people they are trying to deter. The drinks are too expensive, this in itself wouldn't bother me if it hadn't taken half an hour to get served at the bar, seriously the slowest bar staff I have ever seen.

The music at Tiger Tiger is rubbish, I think they have one CD and just put it on loop all night because I'm sure several of the songs were repeated at least five times. And anywhere that thinks playing ABBA is cool needs a serious rethink.

Go somewhere else, unless you are from Croydon, then you will probably think that Tiger Tiger is the very pinnacle of style and sophistication!

I worry about anyone who has given this place such a positive review because they clearly don't get out much! Tiger Tiger looks nice inside and out. However the bouncers are mindless idiots. I don't know where people get the impression that because a bar makes you wear proper shoes it is classy. Unfortunately chavs have the same access to shoe shops as the rest of us!

Meanwhile bars and clubs that actually have a degree of class and style don't operate such daft dress code rules and still manage to keep the init speaking, Burberry wearing brigade out on the street where they belong.

The food is acceptable, the drinks are expensive but the music is pretty dire. Seriously don't go there, and if Tiger Tiger is a regular haunt of yours and you think it is great try some other bars, there are much better out there. I have been there several times (at other people's request) so I am not basing this write up on one unfortunate experience.

I disagree with such a positive review about Tiger Tiger. I went there last night to watch the game Poland-Germany as this was the place so highly recommend. I was bitterly disappointed. Not only did they not switch on the game until 8pm but also there was no sound. Disco music was played through the place, instead of the promised game.

Only after 20 minutes did I manage to move to another room where they ‘kindly’ decided to put on the sound. And this was simply because a bar was a Polish girl who managed to organise it for us. My advice is, if you want to enjoy soccer and watch it in a proper atmosphere, do not go there. Tiger Tiger is a disco place, not a sporty one.

There was only a short queue to get in to Tiger Tiger on a Saturday night, and this may have something to do with the abrupt, unfriendly bouncers and surly hostesses.

£10.00 each to get in gave off an atmosphere like a sale at Next and for this entrance fee the cheesy chart music left a lot to be desired at a venue so highly regarded by myself in cities such as Manchester and Newcastle.

Needless to say I won't waste my money at Tiger Tiger again and will opt for a venue offering more for my hard earned cash.

I visited Tiger Tiger last Friday night. We had a hen package which gave us a three course meal and some bubbly after we reserved a booth in the club. I have to say I really enjoyed myself. I was a little afraid because we had some older ladies joining us in a younger crowd, but I was pleasantly surprised as everyone really had a good giggle.

It was very busy but yet we were still able to have a chat and a good boogie. I also found the prices very reasonable. The dinner was delicious and really set us up for the night. The staff were really friendly and we even had table service which really impressed the older ladies. Also the crowd was mixed and we saw no trouble. The Hen told me she had one of the best nights of her life so I would strongly recommend anyone to go to Tiger Tiger.

Tiger Tiger is would be a very impressive place to go, if the body guards were a bit more respectable to guests. We are a group of friends who work in the city, both men and women, who have been regular customers there for more than a year and half. But, as usual, we were disturbed by the Tiger Tiger bouncers who seem to think they own the place. If they were a bit kinder they wouldn’t lose anything, kindness is always nice.

Before I went to Tiger Tiger I had heard a lot about it being the best club in London so thought I might be in for a bit of a let down but I was pleasantly surprised.

I dined in the restaurant and found the food very delicious. After that I went to the bar/club area and again found it charming and glamorous. I was really impressed by the service and found the clientele a really good crowd. I saw a lot of classy people just out to have a good time!

Also the prices were very reasonable and I didn’t leave my bank crying as usual. All in all I found Tiger Tiger an all round fun place and it was nice having everything under one roof. I’m already booked in on the guest list for this Saturday!

I remember the days when Tiger Tiger use to be a very upper class sort of place to hang out, as it’s always been rather steep on the drink side, and the sort of place you would maybe consider for a bit of lunch. I have been to Tiger Tiger a few times and every time I go back it just gets worse.

Gentlemen, if you’re looking to meet a number of tourists and foreigners, then this is a great place for you. Ladies if you’re looking to meet men with big noses and sweaty hair, then fine, get yourself to Tiger Tiger!

As for the décor, like any Tiger Tiger, it's nice and I believe they have just had a recent face lift in one aura of the club. Overall it’s a massive dive these days, very cramped and the sort of place you feel you can pick up a new language if you talk to someone for long enough. It gets a one because you can't give a zero.

I went to Tiger Tiger by chance with my friend for lunch last Saturday. Being two travellers, the cheaper priced menu lured us in and the atmosphere and decor was brilliant. The food was delicious and well presented.

And our waiter was extremely nice. He checked to see if everything was alright (not many do that these days), and to be honest, his smile kept me seated there more than anything else! We will definitely go back to Tiger Tiger.

I have been to Tiger Tiger several times (never by my own choice) and I cannot stand the place. The bouncers are about par for the course (collar size higher than IQ).

The clientele are appalling. Other than an accidental trip to Top Shop I have never seen more polyester suits in my life. There are some females in Tiger Tiger, but usually surrounded by groups of learing men.

In short if you have a modicum of taste don't go to Tiger Tiger. There are better places within five minutes walk. Try Bar Atlantic on Brewer Street.

If you're lacking any sense of adventure and imagination, then Tiger Tiger is the place for you. This super bar/restaurant/club is massive and has various entertaining areas, but none of them really had much character or distinguishing features. The Tiger Tiger dress policy is unbelievably pretentious and fussy, but yet did not seem to deter the clientele that such a dress code is designed to keep out. The whole vibe of the place smacks of a cheap night at a students' union, with everyone desperate to pull. If that's your idea of a night out, then this is the place for you. I went on a Saturday night, and I can believe that this place is probably a bit calmer mid-week. But despite that, I'm never going back.

Tiger Tiger was a fantastic night out for me and my friends. We went along to the restaurant for dinner (on my girlfriend's birthday). The food was great and so was the service. We went onto the main Tiger Tiger bar floor - there was no door charge as we were already in the building - and enjoyed various cocktails. The building did get busy after 10pm (it was a Friday night) but wasn't overcrowded. Instead it added to the atmosphere. People were friendly and a mate of mine got lucky. We stayed at Tiger Tiger until the end (3am) and will definitely be going back next weekend.
