We attended there the last three weeks and will not be gong again, the service was disgusting and we had no vegetables to choose from, last nights excuse was that a party of 12 had come in and eaten all the veg. On the previous visit we was told that this ws due to all the kitchen staff being on breaks leaving only one person to serve and cook.
When we complained we was told no less than 10 time that it takes 40 minutes to cook vegetables. This is irrelevant as we pay the same as everybody else and expect all the vegetables to be available. No potatoes, no onions, cauliflower cheese, the list goes on.
We will not now be going again, tried three times and that is our lot.

I wrote a very nice review which got lost. Briefly this is an excellent place with high quality food for a fiver. I have eaten no better quality food on 5* Cruise ships and fancy restaurants. As a first timer to the Carvery concept. In the last 25 years; I was very impressed.

Lunch on Friday November 20 2009 went very well. Nice decor and athmosphere. Lots of happy eaters but not at all crowded. Lots of space, 2 of us sat at a 4 seater table without fuss. Highly recommended to me, I was at first a bit sniffy of the concept but in these economic times one must adapt and as I am in the middle of that excellent humourous book ed reardon about the impoverished Radio character I was inclined to give it a try. Highly recommended; and it has a car park!
