I went to this place for the first time the other night and really enjoyed it. I love that you can go to so many bars in london and see live bands, its one thing that is missing from most parts of the UK. The bands played good music, and most of them I thought were pretty talented. The drinks menu was eclectic, I would have loved to have tried a cocktail, however my funds weren't up to scratch lol. If I was a millionaire I would probably make this place a regular hangout, however its tooo expensive for an everyday event. I would like to go again in a larger group, however I think most of my friends wouldn't come cos of the expense. I did get a vibe from the bartender that he didn't like that I couldn't afford half the things on the menu, always going for the cheapest, which was £4.95 for a vodka and coke and same for small glass of wine. Still veryyy expensive.

The Troubadour does one of the best burgers in town! The service isn’t always up to much, and it’s not really a traditional pub as such, but I’d say The Troubadour ia good place for a quick lunch or relaxed dinner.

Troubadour is unspellable and unimpressive although the place was rammed which is normally a good sign? Our table was L shaped, in a pokey back room with little atmosphere - bad start. The starter was a rip off - crusty calamari rings and Tesco houmous. The main was poor, overcooked tasteless steak on a pile of chips, a snip at £12.95! The burger was fine. It's a compliment to say the wine was vinegar. In summary, Troubadour is fun and busy, but the food is rubbish and overpriced.

I have just read an Anonymous rewiew about The Troubadour....for my part, I have been there a few times and always had really friendly service, and they're really good when you book a table, you can be sure you will have it ready on time. Good food, Good Wine, Good Service...and also nice club downstairs with live band until 3a.m!!!
