Vats is a great place for lunch. There is a real mix of people, and the atmosphere is very rustic. In general, the food available at Vats is excellent and reasonably priced. Well worth a try are the fish cakes, especially good in my opinion. I am now a regular customer for this reason alone!

Friends had recommend Vats to me, so I thought I'd give it a try. The food was top class but it was incredibly busy when we visited - bursting at the seams with Vats regulars - which made the whole experience feel a bit rushed. It may be different on a quieter night though.
