Visited theis place on Friday 9th July to get something to eat before moving onto a show.
Outside was a sign proclaiming 'Staff required', and boy were they not joking.
In the restaurant area most of the tables were not even laid up with knives and forks!. I was eating alone but offered a table laid for five, which I later voluntary moved from when a party of 10 arrived.
The food was somewhat short of adequate. I ordered a cheese burger with chips and salad.
When the food eventually arrived I then had to ask for a knife and fork!.
The burger was well and truly overcooked, what there was of the cheese added no flavour, and it was stuck to the underneath of the bap, and only identifiable due to the discolouration it gave to the bread. The salad was meager to say the least. The chips were good and crispy but it was not worth the £7.95 it cost.
The place's saving grace was its' staff. In particular Sophie.
It took me a while to be served and there was a long wait for the food but this was because of the lack of staff. Have the management not heard of temp agencies.
However I was served by a lovely waitress named Sophie, who was kind, helpful and apologetic. Walkers need to give her a pay rise and employ more people like her. Until they do avoid this place, and as for the waiting staff, you deserve a better employer.

i went there on Friday for lunch, staff was more interested in their nails than in serving, when i asked if their fish n chips is freshly prepared they said they were, after getting my meal i saw it was frozen fish and not even battered but bread-crumbed... spent their one hour and suddenly I've notice mouse running from kitchen into restaurant area... when i asked for manager i heard she was busy i wont come to deal with me for next 15-20 min. Horrible place which i wouldn't recommend to my dog, maybe to street cat to hunt for mice... never again

I meet a few friends there recently and was so impressed with the place. The pub is great, with a good atmosphere and friendly staff (and the prices seemed pretty good for its location too!) Would definitely recommend it.

I saw Walkers of Whitehall in the playstation game 'The Getaway' so had to try it out. The main bar downstairs has plenty of space, comfy sofas and a good wine list. Walkers of Whitehall is a great meeting place for a night out.
