If you are one of those people who enjoys drinking alongside people who think its OK to drag their children to the pub with them all day, and you enjoy the excitement of regular visits from the police, and the adrenalin that comes from the frequent scuffles and women screaming obscenities at each other and their drunken husbands and sons, then the Weavers Arms is certainly the place for you.

And don't worry, you won't find a decently dressed person in sight nor indeed will you be plagued with perilously good imaginative food or even a half decent drinks list.

If you like to drink al fresco then join the other track-suited men outside who are always there and you too can join in the raucous banter and frivolities that keep the entire street entertained from morning through to night.

A lovely example of a real working class pub. Its clear by the numerous To Let and For Sale signs that have surrounded this drinking house for some time now that the neighbours would agree.

The Weaver Arms has become a bit of a favorite with this reviewer. If you don't like Guinness, football or pool this isn't the place for you. In my books, I'd call this place a typical Irish pub; Friendly staff and clients, nowhere to dance and not a cocktail in sight.
