First visit to this watering hole last night.

Great vibe and atmosphere. Did not get to try the food but the menu looked scrumptious.

Will definitely go again soon to consolidate my initial impressions.

I would really like to give this pub a rating of zero stars. Having phoned to make a booking for two people for Sunday lunch at 1.30pm - not exactly an unreasonable time for Sunday lunch, you would imagine - and having been spoken to extremely rudely and curtly throughout the conversation, I was then asked 'Do you not want to come earlier? That's our latest booking and there are only two of you'. When I said that no, I didn't want to come earlier, and that I felt from the entire tone of the conversation that they didn't really want to take my booking, they hung up on me. Nice. Not what you'd expect from a pub that's supposed to be so highly regarded.

Are you serious?
There must be more gits per square inch in this "pub" than anywhere else in town. Walk past any night and marvel at the wannabes, meeja nobodies and chinless wonders prattling into their mobiles (no real friends) whilst nursing their overpriced boiled lager, and realise this area is just about ruined forever. Please avoid.

I've always been told the Westbourne is very cool, and in the summer hordes of people pouring out onto the street would pay testament to this fact - so I thought I'd give it a go last weekend. My first impressions of the Westbourne was that it was a bit staid and starey for my liking, but enjoyed a nice pint or two nevertheless.
