Pimlico is one of those areas of London where posh terraces are right next to rough council estates. The White Ferry House caters very much for the the more working class locals - and a fine traditional boozer it is. It's slightly odd shaped, straddling a street corner and has been recently restored in all its Victorian splendour, with high ceilings and fine arched windows. The White Ferry House has two bars; one has a pool table and is frequented by younger regulars while the other larger bar is mostly frequented by old codgers.
