Went to the White Hart for Sunday lunch today and arrived between ten and five minutes before they were due to open their doors. Despite having a toddler with us in the driving rain none of the staff, who had sight of us, decided to open up. It's understandable that they have their opening time but I thought that was pretty mean-spirited in the circumstances. The place itself is near to Waterloo and is fairly comfortable. We ordered mainly roasts which were quite nice. However, if you plan to go with children, particularly babies or young children, beware that they have no high chairs or changing facilities available to customers; instead they have a disabled toilet which doubles as the ladies and no fold down changing area so the floor is the best they can offer - not that great in a pub that supposedly welcomes 'well behaved' children as they say on their website. They also said we could order in 30 mins at 12.30 then said they weren't ready...!
