I was out in Camden on friday and popped into Worlds end during the day. It was nice in there so came back later and i'm so glad i did. What a brilliant night. The staff are incredably friendly and the whole place has an amazing atmosphere. The decor in the larger area of the pub is creative and unusual even the DJ is housed in his own fake shop front around the edge of the main area, and was only too willing to play my somewhat diverse requests. Underworld isn't anything to write home about but like somebody previously said it's only a fiver and i had a blast down there too although it is small and my sister was roasting. Again the staff downstairs were very friendly and a good mix of people throughout. Also on a personal note, i didn't catch the name (it was late) but the kebab house right near worlds end was yummy.Top marks for a top night

The Worlds End is an okay pub but not really my style. It is a bit old worldy for me and the ladies' toilets were disgusting! I think it could do with a refurb.

I enjoyed the World's End, it was overcrowded on a Saturday night even though it is huge. It seems to be a small pub when you first walk in but then there's a second part which is surprisingly big.

World's End played alternative music and it was mainly alternative people hanging out there. The bar staff were friendly but a bit on the slow side. The toilets are awful.

There is a very small seating area which always seems to be full, even when the pub is empty. There is another seating area upstairs but we have not yet found the way up there.

Most of the people in World's End seemed to be friendly and it's a good to have a drink with some mates but I wouldn't spend a whole night there.

The Underworld beneath the World's End pub is a semi-decent club although a little on the small side. The interior is pretty dim and nothing special but for a fiver to get in, I suppose that's expected. Ideally located for stumbling out of the World's End pub located above, the club is probably one of the poorer ones Camden has although it is conveniently close to the tube and bus stops. The music is typical grungy stuff and the crowd are similar in type although it's not at all 'exclusive' to one sort and anyone fits in. Bar service takes a while but to its credit the staff are friendly. There is a cloakroom, reasonably clean toilets and a small seating area. I'd recommend Underworld only if you are extremely drunk or alternatively, love the music it plays. I'd personally skip this one and go to the Electric Ballroom in Camden for a better night out.

The World's End is a nice pub, friendly and hip; but it will never be Chatham's Tap'n'Tin...
