Don't be misled by the name of this pub: following a refit, Ye Olde Cock Tavern has all the antique charm of a cheap modern sofa. The narrow interior has a long pine bar with stools and tables to its right and more seating towards the back. This pub has nothing exceptional in terms of character, drinks or décor, but the local office crowd (given the area expect a lot of journalists) seem to like it. Ye Olde Cock Tavern is bland to say the least in my opinion!
