I went to the Zetter lounge with my partner on Friday 2nd March. When we arrived we were asked if we had booked a table (something I wasn't aware you had to do {especially in a bar}). We hadn't, but they had a table free (in the corner. Very tiny. Nevertheless, we were in).

The drinks:
We had a look over the cocktail menu. House cocktails were £9.50 I believe. The menu was a little obscure in my opinion. I had a rose vodka, lemon juice cocktail with a hint of absinthe. It was too over powering for me. On the plus side, you got all the mixture. Not 3/4 ice and a drizzle of mixture. The cocktail was good, but I have had better. A little over rated in my opinion.

The staff:
We were greeted as we entered and shown to our table. We looked over the menu and after trying several times to get a waitress' attention for nearly ten minutes, we finally ordered. We got our drinks and before we had even finished the waitress (with a HUGE attitude) came to take them away. I said we weren't done and she offered us more. She then came back, took my partner's drink and tried to take mine again before I had finished. She then came back a third time offering us more and in the end I necked the last of it and gave it to her! We got our bill and there was a disgusting 12.5% service charge on there. DO NOT AGREE with that at all! When we asked for it to be removed, she shrugged took the bill and turned away. We waited for (ages) our change to come back and by this point the manager had come over to ask us if everything was okay. I am all for attentive staff but when you are being harassed to hurry your drink because they want to make money, it's off putting. That's how it seemed anyway. I like to be able to relax and enjoy my (expensive) drink in my own time.

The venue:
The decor is just lovely here. So beautiful some head to toe. The bathrooms are awesome as well.

I may have had a bad experience on this night. I am game to give it a second chance.

Considering how much they charge fro a drink (about £9 a pop) they couldn’t find smaller glasses unless they started serving in thimbles. It’s actually a big rip-off. I don’t mind paying a premium for drinking in Granny’s parlour, but I do think Granny needs to be a little less mean with her measures.
