I took my family of 5 (veggie wife) to this restaurant as we have all always liked the variety of menu that vegetarian restaurants offer.

Up to now, our favourite place to eat was Mildreds in Lextington Street, but after this meal, 222 is up there challenging its place!We were going to a Chelsea match (about 15 minutes walk away) and so rang up the night before to see if they would allow us to come in before its official opening time of 5.30pm. "Of course" was the reply - off to a good start.

The restaurant is 5 minutes walk form West Brompton station. It is just out of the fashionable area of Fulham, so don't be put off as you approach it. Walking through the doors, you are greeted by a simply furnished but spotless 36 seat cafe/restaurant.

Immediately there is a feeling of calm and anticipation as the menu comes out.Our meals were superb and freshly prepared. The chickpea curry was magnificent (quite mild) the mushroom pasta dish would not be out of place at any top restaurant, the pancakes were delicious.

The tofu burger was also delightful - quite loose but beautifully served with a wonderful salad and potatoes.The kids thought that the vanilla ice cream served in a warm pancake with vanilla and chocolate sauce was possibly the best dessert they had ever tasted.Organic beers and smoothies were also exceptional. Service was very friendly and efficient. Finally, the price.

In my seat at Stamford Bridge later on I checked the bill as I thought something must have been missed off. It hadn't. It was less expensive then we pay at chain pizza or American restaurants, and the food was 10 million per cent better.

My wife is quite fussy, but she loved it. My kids loved it. I thought it was the best meal I have had this year. We will go back many times. This is a real gem, and deserves success.

This is a very nice, unpretentious place. The service is really good and the atmosphere is very friendly.

They have a nice selection of organic juices and one white and one red wine. I had a glass of white and it was good.

Unfortunately I can't say the same about the main course I ordered. It's called 222 Garden and as far as I remember is the most expensive one of all main courses (£10.50).

I was told that it will be about 20 minutes to wait for the dish, but in the end it was 40 minutes and I wouldn't mind if it was a good one.

I must say that it wasn't good at all, falafel and plantain were bland and simply the flavors didn't go.

I decided to take my chance with a dessert and ordered a chocolate cake.

The cake was really good, although a little bit too dry but was served with a really good chocolate sauce and ice cream, so that helped me to think that the main course wasn't great but maybe it's worth getting back and trying something different as I really liked the place.

I'm a vegan and think this place is an absolute saviour. Variety and flavour in one venue - amazing.
