Finally a friendly, trendy, posh but relaxed restaurant has been opened in our area. We recieved excellent service at 42 Restaurant. The atmosphere was buzzy but romantic and the food outstanding. We no longer have to travel for that little bit extra that we love on a night out.


We recommend a visit to all who love to wine and dine and have fun. 42 Restaurants music is funky, and the ambience is spot on.

42 Restaurant used to be an American type diner, but the menu made a fussy woman's mouth water. It was a wonderful atmosphere when we arrived and were seated immediately.They had a wonderful menu, superbly presented and I wanted to have the chef's babies. 42 Restaurant was fabulous!

This is a great local restaurant in a place that hasn't got many - well, any. We went to 42 Restaurant for the set Sunday lunch, 2 courses for £12 and thought it was good value, well-cooked and presented, and a little bit different too. Service at 42 Restaurant was excellent and friendly. The place is relaxing and nicely designed with a bar area which we will return to for a drink. I hope there is enough local custom to keep 42 going - I'll certainly be doing my bit. I'm glad it is here.

We have now been three times since 42 Restaurant has been changed. Everything about the place is impressive. The decor, food, service, and space. It's wonderful. If you where put off by 42nd Street as were, we you should try 42 Restaurant it's two times better. The Cheese board was even nicer than Fifteen.

We went to 42 Restaurant for a meal at the weekend and couldn't believe how much the place has changed. It's has a fantastic atmosphere, the staff are really friendly and professional and the food was out of this world. You have to try 42 Restaurant!

The restaurant is nice, the food was enjoyable and the atmosphere and staff were great, nice friendly place yet not too childly. It's a little pricey but if you're used to london prices you're ok.
