Someone’s been going crazy with the paints at Al Fawar – the walls are covered with colourful murals of Lebanon (not that I’ve ever been – they could have been of Milton Keynes for all I know… although I don’t think they have snow-covered cedars in the midlands). You can tuck into lots of tasty falafels and tabouleh, but the main reason I’m a Al Fawar regular is the yummy cakes they give you free at the end. Free cake – what could be better?
