I visit Alba all the time - it's the most understated restaurant in Clapham. The food is amazing, and the family run service is very welcoming. The pizza's here rival any pizza express pizza, and are great value for money.
Booked a table here last night (14/11/09) to celebrate my birthday and had a great time. I had mentioned it was my birthday when I made the booking and they had placed a banner on the wall and glitter on the table for me, without me asking for anything. The staff were really friendly and understandable when not only I was late but also my other guests.
The food was great and I left feeling totally full!
Would totally recommend visiting here no matter what the occasion.

Very good portion sizes, very tasty, & above all genuinely FRIENDLY - you can't say that about a lot of restaurants in London.
I always head here when I am in Clapham - these guys deserve to do well!
We tried this place for a last minute birthday meal and we couldn't have made a better choice.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They had thoughtfully dressed the table with a birthday banner, without prior arrangement, which was a sweet touch. Thank you Alba for a lovely evening.
Food was fantastic, large portions, good variety, freshly cooked and at all at such a reasonable price.

I've been there with small children as well, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful.

This place is great! Really great pizza (I've tried the other 3 places in Clapham, and they don't compare to this place), the staff are friendly and they know what customer service is! I had my birthday dinner there and they even organised table confetti, a Birthday sign, and helped organise a surprise cake. Really nice atmosphere, and not over-priced. Great place, and will definitely keep going back!!
Alba is the most amazing pizza you will ever eat!! Sorry to repeat what everone else has said but I've been there a few times and they never disappoint.
As a vegetarian they have lots of interesting options and I'm always spoilt for choice.
The staff are so friendly and on one occasion the owner was so concerned that my friend I would get cold after leaving the restaurant that they gave us a free shot to warm us up!

I have been to this pizza place many times. The pizzas are the best in London. So good in fact that if I eat pizza any where else I am always dissapointed as they don't compare. The guys who run the place are really friendly and the service is always quick and attentive.
When I saw Alba I was amazed to see that there are restaurants that you can sit outside and enjoy a meal, it’s very hard to find in London nowadays. We were welcomed with a great smile and friendliness from the waitress.
I can't describe the great taste of the Pizzas we had in words - it's beyond description, but I will say the service, food, location, and the popularity of the restaurant was amazing. The Pizzas are so great we even had couple made to take away with us.
I have had pizzas in the past, well as is said they are in the past. Alba is the one for me now. We go there every Friday night to eat from North London and I will greatly and highly recommend it to my friends and other readers.
