Looking for a traditional and friendly bar with a touch of quirky? Well look no further, Albert Arms is all that and more!

The Venue
The Albert Arms can be found at the tip of a forked road, the interior is as quirky as the placement of the pub. There is seating outdoors or you can head into the bar, which is divided into two rooms via a set of double doors. Look around and you’ll find bric-a-brac strewn all over the place, statues, road signs, chalkboards, weighing scales, photos, studio lights, kettles, fans - you name it, it’s all there, hung on the brick walls or placed in niches. The eclectic mix of objects blend well together to create a cosy feel - an ideal spot for drinks or a meal.

The Atmosphere
This pub has a rather homely feel and is frequented by students, locals and professionals. The interior has been embellished with bits and pieces picked up from all over - definitely worth exploring. The staff are friendly, as are the customers - pop in to watch a football match on the big screen, or come to karaoke night, quiz night or one of the many other entertainment evenings.

The Food
The Albert Arms has recently changed management, bringing in a new menu. You’ll find a range of meals from £5-£8. English cuisine is on the menu so why not indulge in scampi, cod, shepherds pie, bangers and mash, or soup, all prepared by the resident chef.

The Drink
Make a swift move to the bar and get the bartender to pump a larger - Carlsberg or Stella costs a reasonable £2.80. If you’re in the mood for wine you can expect to pay between £2.70-3.75 for a glass. Or why not try some Jose Cuervo tequila?

The Last Word
You’ll feel right at home here, it’s a friendly, traditional pub that possess a distinct character. It’s humble and homely style will keep you coming back for more.
