The quality of the food is good, however the service really lets it down. Some of the staff don't seem to know what they are doing. We arrived for Sunday dim sum lunch and waited a good 10minutes without being asked whether we wanted to order (drinks or food). I wouldn't have minded if they were busy but the restaurant wasn't even half full and there were loads of staff standing around not doing very much. We had to flag down a clueless waitress to order some tea, she then walked off and didn't return until 15minutes later. During which time another waiter had already got us some tea! The food came quickly after ordering and was good quality, but was just dumped on our table with no explanation of what anything was. When it came to getting the bill, we asked one of the waitresses for the bill, she seemed not to really understand what we said (we spoke in chinese and repeated in english!)we watched her walk off without getting the bill or telling any of her colleagues to get the bill. Surprise surprise another 10 minutes later we had to call for the bill again! We have been to Alisan several times and especially love the dim sum there because of all the different dishes which you don't normally get in the more traditional restaurants in chinatown. Service in the past has been slow but never this bad. We love to be able to meet our friends here for Sunday lunch but with this level of service, we will only be embarrassed if we recommend this place. A real shame as we live so close by. Wish the servicing staff matched the high quality of the obviously talented kitchen staff.

Great place. They've just introduced benton box lunches - 4 dishes for £5.50.
The dim sum is to die for.
Not bad when they've got Michelin starred chefs in the kitchen.
It's had some good press write ups, but the harp on about Alisan being 'out of the way'.
I live on Baker Street and I can get to work at Wembley in 15 minutes by tube.
I had a great time with a group of friends at the Alisan restaurant near the new Wembley Stadium. Despite the venue feeling a bit too big and characterless on entry, the overall feel of the place is very good. I can highly recommend going for cocktails and Dim Sum snacks or to sit down for a full on Chinese banquet!

The set menus are great value and make the choosing from the extensive menu much easier. And unusually for a Chinese, the desserts were very tempting too. Apparently the Head Chef is from the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore - you can tell. Alisan is well worth a visit.
A few of us went to Alisan last month for a friend's birthday and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait too long for it, even though we were in a large group.
Welcoming atmosphere and a good wine list! Alisan's a nice little place.
Alisan is a great find opposite the main entrance of the new Wembley Stadium and a next to Wembley Arena. It is a dramatic, intimate and sophisticated 200 seater restaurant and separate bar. Having recruited a team of the best Chinese chefs from around the world, Alisan offers some of the best Asian food in the country.
The scallop shumai and poached Peking dumplings are heavenly. At the expensive end of the menu, the baked lobster in ginger and spring onions and vension strips in black pepper are truly outstanding.
For pudding, the marbled cheesecake with rasberry compote and sour cherry is superb. The wine menu is sensibly priced with plenty on offer in the £13.00 range.
