Just got back from an abysmal evening at All Star Lanes, Westfield.

Having been to the Brick Lane and Bloomsbury branches multiple times, I had high expectations. However, upon arrival, we were left waiting around 20 minutes before the non-English waitress asked to take our drink order - even though we were the only table in there.

We order our food, which arrived after around 30 minutes. The All Star Lanes burger arrived over-cooked and dry, and one member of the party found "fluff" in her chips. Upon questioning the waitress we found out this was in fact part of a scourer - and although we said we didn't want a replacement - the waitress didn't listen and brought over new chips.

We weren't asked if we wanted deserts, and we had to summon a waitress - who obviously wasn't busy - to look at the menu. One member of the party ordered an Ice Cream Sundae, and specified NO NUTS. The waitress enquired as to whether she was allergic, which she wasn't - she just didn't like them. Still, that didn't stop the chef covering the desert with large pieces of nuts. We asked the waitress - who was very argumentative - to take the desert back, and after speaking to the manager, we got a replacement. It was awfully presented, and had already melted after the 20 minute wait it took to get it.

Although the staff were unaware we were unhappy, we had to summon over a manger to take our bill - once she'd finished dealing with a complaint as the table next to ours. The meal was extremely overpriced, but we paid up and left - as were were desperate to get out.

Will not be visiting again, and despite excellent experiences at the Brick Lane and Holborn branches, have been put of All Star Lanes for life.

went there on the first day of opening. it had a few teething issues, the pins didnt reset quite a few times, but as it was the first day this is to be expected. the staff are very helpful and are VERY GOOD LOOKING. a good place to go bowling (Y)
